La nueva profesión de Barbie es ingeniería informática, y es toda una geek.
Cuenta con accesorios como un ordenador portátil rosa, auricular bluetooth, smartphone, gafas y una remera con estampa de código binario.
Mattel necesitó la ayuda de la Sociedad de Mujeres Ingenieras y la Academia Nacional de Ingeniería para diseñar la indumentaria y accesorios de esta muñeca.
“Todas las niñas que imaginan su fututo a través de Barbie aprenderán que los ingenieros (como las niñas) son libres de explorar las infinitas posibilidades, limitados solo por su imaginación”, dijo Nora Lin (Presidente de la Sociedad De Mujeres Ingenieras).
La Babie IT no estará disponible en tiendas sino hasta el invierno del 2010, sin embargo se pueden reservar online a través de http://www.mattelshop.com.
