Barbie es solidaria con Haiti
Es el nombre dado a la exposición del trabajo de Amelia Baena, una coleccionista cordobesa, que ha restaurado y vestido a 100 muñecas barbies para colectar fondos destinados a ayudar a Haití.
Se exhiben muñecas de distintas procedencias y razas vestidas con trajes de gala, cóctel y hasta de novia, todas ellas con sus infaltables accesorios como bolsos y collares.
El evento ha tenido tanto eco que la embajadora de Haití en España, Yolette Azor-Charles, viajó a Córdoba para expresar sus agradecimientos en persona y expresó su interés por realizar el mismo desfile en Sevilla o Madrid.
Amelia Baena empezó como una aficionada y jamás imaginó que esta afición podría llegar a convertirse en un grano de arena para ayudar a otras personas.
